Thursday, 6th April 2017; the Shorncliffe Trust welcomed 300 Cadets from 15 Canada Cadet Corps comprising:

The Cadets marched in the footsteps of their ancestors who trained at Shorncliffe before conflict on foreign soil including at Vimy Ridge. Many thousands never returned home and more than 300 now lie at rest in Shorncliffe’s Military Cemetery. Following the commemoration at Shorncliffe, the Cadets travelled to Vimy in France for the 100th Anniversary Commemoration in the presence of Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau; Princes Charles, William and Harry.
